Terms and Conditions


The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and will be responsible for all members of their group. 

We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings at our discretion. 

Check in time is from 1pm to 8pm for those bringing their own units, however if you are staying in one of our glamping units or Hare Lodge we need a little time to make them clean and tidy for you, we’re happy for you to arrive and leave your car here, your accommodation will be ready from 4pm.  Departure is by 11am for Hare Lodge and our glamping units and 12 noon for touring pitches.

We accept no liability for goods or belongings that are lost or stolen on the premises. 

Any lost keys will be charged at £10 

Stag and hen parties are not permitted. 

Barbecues can only be used when raised off the ground to prevent damage. 

Noise must always be kept to a reasonable level with quiet time 10.30pm – 7am 

No smoking policy includes tobacco products and e-cigarettes. 

Guests are permitted to smoke outside the accommodation, but you must dispose of your cigarettes in the bins. 

Dogs are allowed on the campsite providing the appropriate fee has been paid. We charge £1 per dog per night, with maximum 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Dogs must be under control and kept on a lead at all times. Dogs must not causes disturbance to other guests. Dogs must be exercised outside the camp site and any fouling must be cleared up immediately. 

You and your party must not use candles, fireworks or Chinese lanterns 

You agree to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. 

Only one vehicle per pitch however additional vehicles can be brought by prior arrangement. Hare Lodge has 2 parking spaces.  All Vintage cars free of charge!  

Vehicles are left at the owner’s risk. We accept no responsibility for damage or theft on site. 

Generators may be used only at the discretion of the Site team. 

Due to our planning permission no amplified music is permitted.

The speed limit on site is 5mph at all times 

The flying of drones at the campsite is not permitted 

Visitors- if you wish to have visitors please check with us first. 

If you do happen to cause damages or breakages please let us know. We know that accidents happen.  

We will not be responsible for any event outside our control including without limitation severe weather event, drought, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disaster, strikes or industrial action by third parties, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat of war, civil commotion, riot, invasion, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks. 

Please respect that others are wanting to relax and enjoy their holiday. We will have to ask you to leave if you are being too noisy at unreasonable hours or there are other serious anti-social behaviour likely to offend either our staff or our other guests. So please be nice, relax and enjoy.  

We want you to have enjoyed your stay and be reluctant to leave, however we may have someone else eager to come. We ask you to vacate your pitch by 12 noon in a touring pitch and 11am in a glamping unit unless you have arranged a later time with us.   

You will be asked to leave immediately with no refund given, at our discretion if you or your party break any of our rules.

Cancellation- 

On booking we require a minimum 15% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 3 weeks before the commencement of your stay.

Your booking is for a specific date and this means you do not have a statutory right to change it. We want to be helpful though so we do offer you the right to cancel, subject to the below. 

 If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email.and in any event, prior to the first day of your booking. Your booking will be cancelled with effect from the day we receive your telephone call, email or written notification, and will be subject to the  cancellation charges as set out below.

Our cancellation charges are calculated according to the time between when we receive notification from you that you wish to cancel your booking and the start of your booking. Our cancellation charges are set out in the table below:

 If you cancel your booking after the booking start date, we will not issue any refund for any remaining nights of your booking. To clarify, this includes where you cancel your booking for any reason outside of your reasonable control, including without limitation, inclement weather and illness. We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance to compensate you in these circumstances.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
