Welcome to Happy Days Holiday Retreat! We are a small holiday site on the edge of the historic inland resort of Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
Come back to the past when you visit our vintage-themed site in the village where the Dambusters were based during World War Two. Also lying close to the Battle of Britain memorial flight, guests could be lucky enough to hear the Merlin engines and might even have the chance of seeing them fly overhead on one of their regular appearances.
We have several accommodation options available, ranging from Shepherd hut, bell tent hire, large canvas tent hire, Hare Lodge, or pitches for hire to use your own tents, caravans or motor homes.
For the cooler months we have our extensively refurbished Hare Lodge, which is an attractive detached bungalow sleeping up to 7 people with 3 bedrooms and spacious living areas.
In the summer months Hare Lodge is available as a 2 bedroom bungalow sleeping 5 people.
During the summer months when the glampsite is open there is plenty to do during your stay, including:
- Buying sweets that were popular in previous decades with your old pennies.
- Enjoy the Lincolnshire coast and countryside, which we are perfectly placed for
- Whether you are in Hare Lodge or staying in the paddock enjoy the big Lincolnshire open skies and hopefully you will see lots of animals such as deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, as well as woodpeckers, which are never far away.
- Hire one of our fire pits and enjoy toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate or a mug of Ovaltine.
- Learn how to make a rag rug or knit a square for a blanket.
